Behavioral Support

Under the supervision of our behavior analyst, Collier Middle School uses a Positive Behavior Support model. PBS provides clear expectations for our students to experience social, emotional and academic success. Behavioral supports focus on identifying target behaviors, conducting assessments and teaching new ways for our students to meet their needs in a more appropriate way. While keeping in mind that each student has individual and unique needs, we have identified four core behaviors which are essential for the success of each student;  Respect, Responsibility, Safety and Kindness. Each day these Core Values are talked about, defined in everyday language and celebrated.
